Ever since experiencing the cult-like mentality within LuLaRoe and also seeing this mentality surface in most other MLMs, I’ve been a bit obsessed about religions that have a long-term history of being cults.
One of the religions that always fascinated me was Scientology. Once I got out of LuLaRoe, my need to research and watch everything about cults manifested in an intense way.
Every week, I record Leah Remini and Mike Rinder’s series, “Scientology and the Aftermath” so that I can watch it on Saturday mornings, when I have “me” time.
Scientology is a disgusting and heinous self-proclaimed “religion” that is anything but a religion. While the decades of abuse from the Scientology church cannot compare to what we’ve gone through with LuLaRoe, there are striking similarities, as there are with most cults.
