  1. Now, I’m totally against LLR for their deceptive business practices that made them a ton of money & left tens of thousands of people in huge debt. However, I had to laugh when I read this lawsuit. A guy that worked there for approximately 8 months operating a forklift in a warehouse had his feelings hurt being his boss “barked” orders at him? He was offended because he had to take out the garbage & make palettes? He’s mad because he was assigned to do “menial work”? What does he think driving a forklift is—brain surgery???? It sounds to me like this lawsuit is in retaliation for being fired because he was lazy & didn’t want to work. It is loud in a warehouse—is your supervisor supposed to whisper directions to you? I’d love to see this guy’s prior work history & how many times he’s been fired from other jobs. It would seem to me that another employee yelling “Why are you sitting on your ass?” 5 days before he was terminated speaks volumes. The “pay raise” he got 4 months into his employment was most likely a contractual raise that automatically occurred after his 3 months probationary period. The lawyer that drafted this complaint is kind of amusing, too—talking about his client being the “longest tenured employee” of a 10-12 member team” somehow relieves his client from doing “menial tasks” is absurd. This lawsuit won’t go anywhere. I have a feeling his employment record is not supportive of his self-proclaimed “excellence” and “above” satisfactory performance in the workplace.

    1. Did you read the ENTIRE document and see the blatant racism within it? Please tell me that you just missed that part and you don’t really think that racism is ok.

    2. Hey Holly! I know I’m late to the convo, but anybody that has the time to take that many keystrokes to avoid saying “I AM A RACIST” deserves a punch in the f… I mean a lil insight for future reference :).

I am a former LLR Home Office employee (CSR that quit after things got sketchy in the office) and actually was given the opportunity to work a week away from my desk in each of the distribution centers in CA, for better understanding of the company overall. With that being said I felt it necessary to share the following:

      1. I held conversations with everyone I worked with during that week w/ no need to yell… standing 10 feet apart… all over the warehouse.

      2. They literally threw the whole HR department away a couple times during my 2 year employment there. Payroll was late w/ promised raises w/o back-pay, not responding to employee contact from other locations, and clearly not addressing issues.

AND 3 (my fave)! Brandon is probably enjoying his rather large settlement check that I am sure he has since received, while his former coworkers have since gotten hours slashed and laid-off after making less than livable wages…. oops, too far? lol.

      Have BLESSED day, Holly! 🙂
